Breakthrough

In June 2024, the company's new materials future research institute was established, a new type of research and development institution connected with science and technology at one end and industry at the other. It mainly focuses on R&D and industrialisation in the fields of nanomaterials, polymer materials, superconducting materials and flexible electronic materials. Currently, the company is overcoming technical problems while researching the PI film equipment, which is a company's breakthrough  on technological research and development. It relies on the strength and resources of the future of the company's new materials research institute, benchmarking the international leading technology, can produce high-performance thin film, will be widely used in flexible circuit boards, consumer electronics, high-speed rail transit, wind power generation, 5G communications, flexible display, aerospace and other fields.

Co-construction

In 2024, Simcheng successfully hosted two industrial professional conferences, first is 2024 Asian Advanced Film Materials Development Summit Forum, which mainly focuses on the core elements of PI, PPS, LCP, PEN, MXD6, PEEK, PEKK, PEI, PTFE, ETFE, aramid diaphragm and other high-end film materials such as polymerisation research and development, design and manufacture of specialised equipment, batch customised production, and evaluation of product applications. The experts of R&D institutions, production and application enterprises related to high-end film materials from China, Japan and South Korea gathered together to discuss the cooperation layout, technological innovation and industrial development of high-end film materials. Second is the 19th Shishan Plastic Innovation Conference. The conference is mainly commonly used in the field of plastic film upstream and downstream enterprise technology exchanges, market dynamics sharing, as well as industry experts in the R&D results or development trends and other information sharing. Since the founding of the meeting, from the meeting preparation to the final implementation, Simcheng has been fulfilled the organiser's duties for each participant to do a good job in the service of the guests.
